Two moms from Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA came together to create the Children's Drop & Shop as a service to growing families.

Sarah Holch and Stacey Lai know first hand that kids grow out of their clothes quickly, and many times their shirts, sweaters, dresses, shoes, etc. are barely worn at all before they are stuffed in the back of the closet or stored away in the attic. The Children's Drop & Shop allows families to make some money from these nearly new items, and shop from a great selection of name brand clothes in larger sizes. Prices for most items are generally one-third to one-half of retail, or less.

The Children's Drop & Shop occurs just twice a year -- in the spring and in the fall. Each is a one-week children's clothing consignment sales event for gently used, name brand children's clothing and gear. The first part of the event is dedicated for consigners to drop off their items to be consigned. The second part is the sales event. Items accepted for consignment include newborn through teen children's clothes (seasonal), shoes, toys, games, books, baby equipment, furniture, sports equipment and maternity wear. All items must be clean and in excellent condition. Location varies with each event.
